In Fall of 2003 Shoo-Be-Doo was seeking a way to provide better customer service while maintaining a distributed workforce and not adding any staff members.

They had both an office location as well as a home office location and wanted a way to forward calls from one location to the other transparently to the caller.  They also wished to present a consistent and professional corporate appearance to their customers.

SOLUTION: 

After a needs assessment VerticalAnswer recommended our "Standard Biz Package", which includes an auto-attendant, 2 Voicemail boxes and they opted for a professionally recorded Greeting and Menu as well as a toll free number so that their potential partners could return calls more easily.

One Voicemail box was configured as a virtual department,  while the other was for voicemail for the owner with the ability to add additional Voicemail boxes whenever they need them the system could grow with them over time.

To unify thier distributed offices they simply forward their local number to the VerticalAnswer system and calls are then either Live transferred or sent to Voicemail, depending upon the availability of their staff.
