CASE STUDY: ProviderOffice

ProviderOffice is a medical practice call center and appointment scheduling software product from Healthistics.  

PROJECT:

In the fall of 2003 Healthistics approached VerticalAnswer in need of a call center to support their upcoming product release of ProviderOffice.  They initially requested live operator service only but after our analysis of their needs we proposed an automated attendant as a first level of caller assistance.

SOLUTION:

Because Healthistics software is web-based VerticalAnswer proposed our Standard Business Package with our Live Operator service.  This allows for call routing directly to VerticalAnswers Operators who can process patient requests directly via their web-enabled workstations.

In order to limit exposure to medical emergency calls and to provide callers with more precise assistance an auto-attendant.  Furthermore we suggested that a multi-lingual auto-attendant would address non-English speaking patients.  Healthistics opted initially for English only after we assured them that we could add multiple languages whenever they required it.
